We are developing standardized synthetic biology tools for an efficient and fast engineering of cell factories.

We are currently working with various yeasts, including:

  • S. cerevisiae
  • R. toruloides
  • Y. lipolytica
  • K. marxianus

about us

We are the Food Tech and Bioengineering lab at Tallinn University of Technology. We develop novel processes for the production of food and feed components, but also bio-chemicals and materials.
