Our doctoral students, Subhasis Behera and Abdullah Nasir, participated in the two-day intensive YAF workshop dedicated to Energy Systems Analysis in Madrid, Spain, hosted by IMDEA Energy. The workshop introduced environmental life cycle assessment of energy systems with hands-on case studies.
During the two-day workshop, the curriculum covered:
- Energy systems and process modelling
- Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (E-LCA)
- Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
- Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA)
- Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA)
On top of all, the host paid students a guided visit to IMDEA Energy’s laboratories and pilot plants, offering them a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge research facilities and gain first-hand insight into ongoing innovations in renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
